1. Overview

Wordaic is built around user-controlled browser actions. The extension and web app process information so you can collect research, draft text, correct writing, translate, fill forms, and reuse collections. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can manage it.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information, such as email address, name if provided, authentication status, plan, role, and account settings.
  • Billing information processed by our payment provider, such as customer identifiers, subscription identifiers, invoice status, plan version, renewal cycle, and payment events. Wordaic does not need to store full card numbers.
  • Content you provide, such as style samples, resumes, profile details, uploaded files, saved notes, saved links, collection items, form guides, prompts, commands, and feedback.
  • Extension action context, such as selected text, focused input text, page title, page URL, picked screen area, visible page content, page metadata, screenshots, and action type when you invoke a Wordaic action.
  • Voice information, such as audio clips you choose to transcribe or use for voice commands, plus resulting transcripts.
  • Usage, diagnostic, and security data, such as timestamps, feature used, model route, token or capacity estimates, plan-limit checks, rate-limit counters, filtering decisions, blocked-request reasons, errors, device/browser information, IP-derived network data, session cookies, CSRF cookies, and audit logs.
  • Duplicate-action and abuse-prevention signals, such as whether a link, screenshot, collection item, command, or AI action appears to have already been processed or is being repeated unusually.

3. Browser extension behavior

  • Wordaic is designed to read page context when you open or invoke the extension, select text, pick a screen area, request a page action, or ask Wordaic to work with the current page.
  • The extension may inspect the active tab so it can extract, translate, correct, collect, fill, or draft from the page you are using.
  • Write actions are preview-first. Wordaic prepares text or field values for you to review; it is designed not to click submit, publish, purchase, delete, or send buttons for you.
  • Saving a screenshot locally should remain local unless you choose a cloud save or another action that sends it to Wordaic.
  • Some websites may limit extension access, scrolling, screenshots, selection, or capture behavior.

4. How we use information

  • Provide Wordaic features, including translation, extraction, writing, rewriting, grammar correction, form fill, saved form guides, collections, voice transcription, and account management.
  • Route AI requests through Wordaic-managed providers, enforce plan limits, prevent overspending, cache duplicate actions where appropriate, and manage rate limits.
  • Apply content filters, moderation checks, provider safety controls, duplicate-action checks, and abuse-prevention rules.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, debug errors, detect fraud, protect accounts, investigate blocked or failed requests, and keep audit records for administrative operations.
  • Process subscriptions, invoices, launch offers, upgrades, scheduled downgrades, pricing-version notices, and billing support.
  • Improve product quality, model routing, reliability, onboarding, documentation, and support responses.

5. AI and processor sharing

Wordaic may send prompts, selected context, uploaded content, transcripts, screenshots, or generated output to AI model providers and infrastructure providers that help deliver the service. We also use service providers for hosting, databases, email, billing, logs, analytics, security, and customer support. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to Wordaic, subject to their contracts and policies.

6. When we share information

  • With service providers that process data for Wordaic, such as AI model providers, hosting providers, database providers, email providers, payment processors, and monitoring tools.
  • With your direction, such as when you collect content, export, share, connect an integration, or ask us to send information somewhere.
  • For compliance, safety, filtering, and legal reasons, such as responding to lawful requests, enforcing our terms, preventing abuse, protecting rights and safety, or investigating security issues.
  • As part of a business transaction, such as a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.
  • We do not sell your personal information or use your private user content to build advertising profiles.

7. Retention

  • Account, plan, billing, and security records are kept while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, and accounting purposes.
  • Collection items, form guides, uploads, notes, style samples, transcripts, and saved screenshots are kept until you delete them or request account deletion, unless a longer retention period is required.
  • Operational logs, diagnostic events, filtering records, blocked-request records, rate-limit records, duplicate-action records, and abuse-prevention records may be retained for a limited period needed to operate and secure the service.
  • Backups may retain deleted information for a short period before ordinary rotation removes it.

8. Your choices

  • You can choose when to invoke the extension and which page context, selected text, picked areas, notes, files, or screenshots to save.
  • You can manage collections, form guides, uploads, style samples, plan settings, and account settings in the web app where available.
  • You can uninstall the browser extension at any time through your browser.
  • You can request access, correction, export, deletion, or account closure by contacting us.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

Wordaic uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, CSRF protection, account sessions, theme preferences, billing redirects, security, and service reliability. See the Cookie Policy for more detail.

10. Security

We use technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so you should use a secure device, protect your email account, and avoid sending highly sensitive information unless it is necessary for your use of Wordaic.

11. Children

Wordaic is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

12. International processing

Wordaic and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as Wordaic changes. If the update is material, we will provide notice through the product, email, website, or another reasonable method.
