TermsPrivacyCookiesAcceptable Use

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of Wordaic, including the Wordaic browser extension, web app, APIs, account pages, collections, billing pages, and related services. By creating an account, installing the extension, or using Wordaic, you agree to these Terms.

2. What Wordaic does

  • Wordaic helps you read, translate, extract, collect, write, rewrite, correct, and fill forms across web pages.
  • The extension may read page context, selected text, focused input fields, picked screen areas, links, metadata, and user commands when you invoke a Wordaic action.
  • Write actions prepare drafts or field values for your review. Wordaic is designed not to submit, publish, purchase, delete, or send on your behalf.
  • AI calls run through Wordaic-managed server credentials and are controlled by plan limits, rate limits, model routing, and safety rules.
  • Wordaic may use safety filters, abuse checks, duplicate-action checks, and provider-side controls before, during, or after a request.

3. Accounts and security

  • You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your email account and devices secure.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account, buying a plan, or requesting support.
  • If you believe your account or extension session has been compromised, contact us promptly.

4. Your content and permissions

  • You keep ownership of the text, notes, screenshots, resumes, style samples, files, and other content you provide to Wordaic.
  • You grant Wordaic permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, debug, support, bill for, and improve the service.
  • You represent that you have the rights needed to upload, collect, process, and use content through Wordaic.
  • You should not use Wordaic to collect or process sensitive personal information unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate permission.

5. AI outputs

  • AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, offensive, outdated, or unsuitable for your use case.
  • You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, publishing them, sending them, or applying them to a form or page.
  • Wordaic may provide multiple drafts, suggestions, corrections, or extracted data, but it does not replace professional advice.
  • You should verify legal, medical, financial, employment, tax, safety, and other high-impact content with a qualified professional.

6. Plans, limits, and billing

  • Plans define access, usage limits, feature availability, rate limits, AI capacity, voice capacity, storage-related limits, and other entitlements.
  • Some actions, such as saving raw links, notes, selected text, or local screenshots, may not spend AI capacity. AI-assisted actions are subject to plan limits.
  • Rate limits may apply per minute, day, month, action type, feature, account, device, IP address, provider route, or other reasonable abuse-prevention dimension.
  • Wordaic may block duplicate, repeated, unsafe, unsupported, or excessive requests to protect users, reduce accidental overspending, and keep the service reliable.
  • Paid plans and launch offers are processed through our payment provider. Taxes, currency conversion, invoices, failed payments, proration, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, and renewals may be handled by that provider.
  • Immediate upgrades may be prorated by the billing system. Downgrades may be scheduled for a later renewal period unless Wordaic states otherwise.
  • We may update plan prices or limits by creating new plan versions. Existing subscribers may receive advance notice before a pricing version applies to a later billing cycle.

7. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may filter content, refuse requests, throttle usage, suspend features, or terminate access for abuse, security risk, illegal activity, attempts to bypass limits, or use that harms Wordaic, other users, websites, providers, or third parties.

8. Third-party services and websites

  • Wordaic works across third-party websites, but those websites are not controlled by Wordaic.
  • Your use of third-party websites, model providers, browser stores, payment processors, email providers, and infrastructure providers may be subject to their own terms and policies.
  • A third-party page may block, limit, break, or change how extension actions work. Wordaic is not responsible for third-party website availability or behavior.

9. Wordaic intellectual property

  • Wordaic owns the service, software, extension code, interface, product names, logos, documentation, and other materials we provide, except for your content and third-party materials.
  • You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or use Wordaic to build a competing service except where law allows.
  • If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation.

10. Availability and changes

  • Wordaic may change, pause, restrict, or discontinue features, models, routes, limits, plans, or integrations.
  • Safety filters, provider availability, browser rules, website behavior, rate limits, and capacity constraints may affect whether a request can be processed.
  • We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every website will be compatible.
  • We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the product, email, website, or another reasonable method.

11. Disclaimers and liability

  • Wordaic is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent allowed by law.
  • We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy to the maximum extent allowed by law.
  • To the maximum extent allowed by law, Wordaic will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or reliance on AI output.
  • Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to Wordaic for the service in the three months before the claim, or USD $100 if you have not paid Wordaic.
